Description

EHC is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a Client in the Houston Area

$18-$20 / Split Shift (1pm-10pm) Monday – Saturday; OT available. Must be willing to work 7 days a week, if needed.

Primary Function

As a Maintenance Technician, you will contribute to operational success by troubleshooting, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing equipment and tooling to support production schedules and ensure efficient operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform basic mechanical and electrical tasks.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and equipment repairs.
  • Follow directions and work assignments provided by the supervisor.
  • Adhere to all workplace safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Tools, Equipment, and Machines

  • Utilize applicable inspection, measuring, testing, and maintenance equipment in accordance with established work instructions and procedures.

Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred; trade school training is a plus.
  • Ability to read and write.

Experience

  • Minimum of two (2) years of industry-related experience.

Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrated ability to perform required job duties within 90 days of employment.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance practices.

Training Requirements

  • Completion of company safety training.
  • Review of required materials related to quality and management systems.
  • Participation in quality orientation and onboarding programs.
  • Completion of formal training on work instructions, procedures, and applicable industry standards as outlined in the training matrix.
