Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can ensure the continuous operation and functionality of our facilities.

Pay Starting at: $22.00 per hour - based on experience and skillset

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Performing maintenance tasks such as painting, HVAC repairs, electrical and plumbing work, carpentry, and landscaping.
  • Responding to maintenance requests from staff and residents and ensuring that repairs are completed efficiently.
  • Keeping accurate maintenance records and documenting all work performed.
  • Following safety guidelines and ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and visitors.
  • Collaborating with the maintenance team to complete projects and tasks within designated timeframes.
  • Assisting with the installation of new equipment and fixtures as needed.
  • Performing preventative maintenance to prolong the life of equipment and reduce the need for repairs.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant vocational training is a plus.
  • 2 years experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
  • Experience with hand tools, power tools, and electrical and plumbing systems.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various physical positions, including bending and kneeling.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies in the maintenance field.
