    Maintenance Technician (Full-Time, Monday-Friday)

    Noah Homes is a mission-driven nonprofit organization that provides safe, supportive, and community-based residential care for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. With 10 building residential homes, 2 other buildings and 90 residents, we are dedicated to maintaining a high standard of quality living and creating a safe comfortable, well-kept environment where residents can thrive.

    Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance, repairs, and preventative upkeep of buildings and equipment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and experienced in troubleshooting a variety of maintenance issues while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, facilities, and equipment
    • Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, and mechanical systems
    • Complete preventative maintenance schedules and inspections
    • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and service calls
    • Monitor equipment performance and recommend repairs or replacements (e.g., boilers, furnaces, HVAC systems)
    • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and inventory records
    • Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company policies
    • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs
    • Maintain tools, supplies, and a clean, organized workspace

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, or building repair required
    • Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and mechanical systems
    • Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
    • Good communication and customer service skills
    • Valid driver's license with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience
    • Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
    • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials or equipment up to 50 lbs
    • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb ladders, and work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions
    • Ability to respond to emergency maintenance needs as required
    • Ability to pass a Live Scan background check, physical exam, and drug screening
