    Position Summary

    Company is a leading supplier of ASME cold formed tank heads, hot formed tank heads, cones, and rolled/ welded cylinders. The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving industrial manufacturing equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production. This role performs preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems while minimizing equipment downtime and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.


    Responsibilities


    Perform preventive, predictive, and emergency maintenance on manufacturing equipment.

    Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.

    Diagnose equipment failures and restore production in a timely manner.

    Replace bearings, motors, gearboxes, belts, chains, sprockets, rollers, pumps, and other machine components.

    Perform welding and light fabrication repairs as needed.

    Install, align, and adjust production equipment.

    Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and equipment manuals.

    Assist with machine installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.

    Complete work orders and accurately document repairs in the maintenance system.

    Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).

    Collaborate with production personnel to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.

    Qualifications


    3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

    Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.

    Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and power transmission systems.

    480v electrical troubleshooting experience.

    Welding and fabrication experience preferred.

    Ability to use hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and diagnostic equipment.

    Ability to read blueprints and mechanical schematics.

    Experience with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS systems is preferred.

    Forklift and scissor lift experience is a plus.

    Physical Requirements


    Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

    Stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work in confined spaces throughout the shift.

    Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with heat, noise, dust, and moving machinery.

    Available to work overtime and weekends as needed.
