Maintenance Technician - Fort Wayne, IN - $26-$30/hr

Location: Fort Wayne, IN

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Overview:

We're seeking a Maintenance Technician to support a high-volume manufacturing operation by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

This position is ideal for a technician with strong electrical troubleshooting skills who is comfortable working on CNC equipment, mechanical presses, and industrial control systems in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical manufacturing equipment.

Maintain and repair CNC lathes, warm forge presses, and automated production equipment.

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components according to electrical codes and specifications.

Diagnose equipment failures and replace defective components.

Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime.

Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical blueprints and schematics.

Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage.

Work closely with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to resolve equipment issues.

Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED.

4+ years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance role.

Experience troubleshooting CNC machines and mechanical presses.

Strong knowledge of AC/DC drives, servo motors, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, and industrial control systems.

Ability to read hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical blueprints.

Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.

Basic computer skills and maintenance documentation experience.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Automotive manufacturing experience.

Experience with warm forge presses.

Advanced PLC troubleshooting experience.

Strong electrical maintenance background.

Experience supporting highly automated production environments.

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay Rate: $26-$30/hour

Employment Type: Contract

Shift: 3rd Shift (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

Work Arrangement: Onsite
