Pro Resources is seeking a 1st and 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician for a client in Fort Wayne, IN. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of manufacturing machinery and systems through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment improvements.   • 1st and 2nd Shift
  • Compensation is from 52,000 USD to 93,600 USD per year
Job Duties
  • Preventive Maintenance — Regularly scheduled maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure smooth operations. 
  • Troubleshooting — Quickly diagnosing and resolving machinery issues to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
  • Repair – Basic repair of mechanical equipment, knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics and pneumatics, conveyors, air lines, etc.
  • Equipment Improvements — Overseeing enhancements and modifications to existing machinery to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Safety Compliance — Ensuring all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and standards to protect workers and equipment.
Background Profile
  • 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Experience working with conveyors, motors, gearboxes, air lines, pumps, and other production equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems, including reading schematics, is a plus.
  • Welding and fabrication experience is helpful but not required.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and climb throughout the shift.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
