Maintenance Technician - Immediate Hire
Overview
We're seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair aseptic processing and packaging equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role supports equipment reliability, preventive maintenance programs, food safety compliance, and continuous production.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Support aseptic processing, filling, packaging, CIP/SIP, and changeovers
- Read schematics, manuals, and technical documentation
- Maintain maintenance records and CMMS documentation
- Follow GMP, HACCP, LOTO, and safety procedures
Must-Haves
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- Experience in food, beverage, dairy, aseptic, pharmaceutical, or regulated manufacturing environments
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with pumps, motors, conveyors, gearboxes, valves, and production equipment
- Basic electrical and PLC troubleshooting knowledge
- Pneumatic and hydraulic experience
- CMMS experience
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
Preferred
- Aseptic processing or packaging equipment experience
- Tetra Pak, SIG, Krones, or similar equipment
- CIP/SIP experience
- Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLC troubleshooting
- Welding, fabrication, or machining experience
