We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Maintenance Technician. In this role, you will help ensure that equipment, facilities, and systems operate safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate takes pride in solving problems, working with a sense of urgency, and maintaining a clean, organized, and productive environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment, systems, and facility components
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general building issues as needed
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritize work based on safety and operational needs
- Maintain accurate records of completed work, parts used, and equipment conditions
- Assist with installation, setup, and testing of equipment and systems
- Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, or other team members when specialized support is required
- Keep work areas, tools, and maintenance storage spaces clean and organized
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, equipment repair, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC systems
- Ability to diagnose issues and perform repairs in a timely and effective manner
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills for recordkeeping and work order systems are a plus
Preferred Skills
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs
- Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Familiarity with reading manuals, schematics, or technical instructions
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
