Maintenance Technician Facilities & Equipment
Location: St. George, UT
Pay: $21.00$24.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: MondayFriday, 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support facility operations and equipment maintenance in a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, repairing equipment, and ensuring the facility remains safe, functional, and operating efficiently.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment and machinery.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems as needed.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and complete repairs in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
- Maintain building systems including lighting, doors, plumbing, HVAC, and general facility infrastructure.
- Conduct repairs on conveyors, production equipment, forklifts, and other operational machinery.
- Complete work orders and maintain maintenance records.
- Assist with facility improvement projects and equipment installations.
- Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, policies, and regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop and work area.
- Respond to maintenance emergencies as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in industrial, manufacturing, facility, or equipment maintenance required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems preferred.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance equipment.
- Welding, fabrication, or forklift experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in varying conditions throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Comfortable working around machinery, production equipment, and industrial environments.
Pre-Employment Requirements

- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance required.
