HireLevel is hiring a Maintenance Tech in Evansville, IN 


HireLevel is seeking a skilled 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician to join a growing manufacturing team in Evansville, IN.


In this hands-on role, you'll troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and improve production equipment and facility systems to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency. Location: Evansville, IN
Shift: 2nd Shift 

Pay: $20+/hr. (based on experience and qualifications)


Responsibilities of the Associate Chemist:

  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment and facility systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems 
  • Diagnose equipment failures and restore machinery to proper operating condition 
  • Repair and maintain mixers, production equipment, forklifts, and other industrial machinery 
  • Inspect equipment and replace or adjust components to improve performance 
  • Install, modify, and fabricate equipment as needed to support manufacturing operations 
  • Complete preventive maintenance (TPM) activities and scheduled maintenance tasks 
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, downtime reports, and repair documentation 
  • Order and maintain inventory of replacement parts and maintenance supplies 
  • Perform Lockout/Tagout procedures and support all plant safety initiatives 
  • Assist with equipment calibration and gage control activities 
  • Support recycling, environmental compliance, and hazardous waste procedures 
  •  Train and mentor new maintenance team members 
  • Communicate maintenance updates and equipment status between shifts 
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment 
  • Participate in emergency response activities when needed


Requirements for Maintenance Tech:

  • High School Diploma or GED required 
  • Minimum of 2 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience 
  • Manufacturing or production maintenance experience preferred 
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills 
  • Experience using electrical testing equipment such as multimeters and circuit testers 
  • Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs and industrial equipment 
  • Ability to read and interpret maintenance documentation and technical information 
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills 
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities 
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently 
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
