Location: Salisbury, NC
Pay Rate:$32.00 per hour
Schedule Options:
- 4-Day Work Week: Monday-Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- 3-Day Work Week: 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM (schedule determined by production needs)
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician - Electro- Mechanical to support production operations through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of manufacturing equipment. This position plays a critical role in minimizing downtime, improving equipment reliability, and supporting a safe and productive work environment
Essential Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment according to established schedules and procedures.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Work with PLC-controlled equipment, HMIs, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, electronic torque equipment, and testing devices.
- Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical blueprints.
- Communicate equipment status and repair updates to operators and management.
- Assist with equipment modifications and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders.
- Support quality, environmental, health, and safety standards throughout the facility.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, and work in confined spaces.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, varying temperatures, and machinery.
- Must be able to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and steel-toed footwear.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with:
- PLCs (Allen Bradley preferred)
- HMIs
- Electrical and electronic systems
- Pneumatic and hydraulic circuits
- Mechanical equipment repair
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Understanding of temperature controls, shop math, measuring devices, and basic machining operations.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
