Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician III with an electrical specialty to join our team in Venice. A successful candidate will bring a strong electrical and mechanical background, excellent troubleshooting abilities, strong communication skills, and hands-on experience working in a manufacturing environment.
This position is designed for an experienced maintenance professional with a high level of electrical knowledge and technical skill who can independently troubleshoot, maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment and facility systems. The ideal candidate will also have the desire to continue developing into higher-level maintenance responsibilities.

This role provides an opportunity to apply your electrical and mechanical expertise in a stable manufacturing environment while continuing to expand your technical skills. You'll report to the same facility each day, work a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, and support a variety of manufacturing equipment, electrical systems, and plant utilities.
For an experienced electrical maintenance professional, this position offers the opportunity to troubleshoot equipment, support preventive maintenance initiatives, contribute to equipment reliability, and work alongside other skilled maintenance professionals.
Perform all work in a safe manner and adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain, troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, and repair manufacturing equipment and electrical systems within assigned areas.
Diagnose electrical and mechanical equipment issues and determine appropriate repairs and corrective actions.
Troubleshoot industrial electrical systems, components, motors, controls, wiring, and related equipment.
Perform technical maintenance tasks independently or under the guidance of higher-level maintenance personnel as appropriate.
Maintain plant utilities, including lighting, electrical systems, water systems, drainage systems, and related facility infrastructure.
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, electrical diagrams, and technical drawings when troubleshooting equipment or completing repairs.
Utilize diagnostic equipment, including ohm meters, voltage meters, and other electrical testing devices, to identify and troubleshoot equipment issues.
Complete all assigned work orders accurately and thoroughly, documenting work performed, equipment status, repairs completed, and other pertinent information.
Complete Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) documentation and Proteus entries as required for maintenance tasks, repairs, and preventive maintenance activities.
Maintain open, timely, and accurate communication with maintenance team members, supervisors, and other departments regarding equipment status, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Provide information necessary to maintain appropriate parts and maintenance supply inventories.
Safely operate power tools and maintenance equipment, including drills, cut-off saws, demolition saws, and other related equipment.
Work collaboratively with maintenance technicians, leads, supervisors, and outside contractors to complete repairs, installations, projects, and facility improvements.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability, electrical systems, safety, and maintenance processes.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong level of electrical and mechanical knowledge and hands-on troubleshooting experience.
Demonstrated experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing industrial electrical systems and manufacturing equipment.
Strong understanding of industrial electricity, electrical systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
Technical or Trade School degree preferred; an equivalent combination of a High School Diploma or G.E.D. and relevant maintenance experience will be considered.
Working knowledge of equipment energy sources, including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. PLC experience is a plus.
Ability to maintain plant utilities, including lighting, electrical systems, water systems, drainage systems, and related infrastructure.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, electrical diagrams, and technical drawings.
Proficient in the use of diagnostic equipment, including ohm meters, voltage meters, and other electrical testing devices.
Basic knowledge and safe operation of power tools and equipment, including drills, cut-off saws, demolition saws, and similar maintenance tools.
Basic understanding of Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) processes, documentation requirements, and Proteus maintenance management systems.
Thorough understanding of and commitment to OSHA regulations and company safety requirements, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and other electrical and maintenance safety procedures.
Ability to work independently when directed and effectively prioritize multiple maintenance assignments.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational, mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Technical or Trade School degree in electrical, industrial maintenance, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Previous experience performing industrial electrical troubleshooting, equipment repair, and preventive maintenance strongly preferred.
PLC troubleshooting or maintenance experience is a plus.
Ability to lift and move components weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Frequent walking, bending, reaching, and movement throughout a manufacturing facility may be required.
Ability to safely operate and work around industrial equipment, electrical systems, and maintenance tools.
