Maintenance Technician Direct Hire

Job Summary

Immediate openings are available in our Steel and Aluminum Divisions due to growth. We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and perform essential maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our production facilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on all production equipment and the building.
• Utilize mechanical skills, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
• Install new equipment as needed.

Electrical Technician Responsibilities

• Possess working knowledge of PLCs; familiarity with Fanuc Controls is desirable.
• Have a background in robotics; capable of reading and wiring electrical schematics.
• Knowledge in wiring 480-volt circuits of motors and controls.
• Experience with metal stamping, CNC machine centers, and other high-speed assembly equipment is a plus.

Qualifications

• Possess a two-year technical degree or higher.
• Minimum of four years of experience in a maintenance position.
• Working knowledge of industrial safety practices.
• Ability to perform basic administrative skills, including creating work orders and documenting work performed.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work with a cross-functional team in the manufacturing process.
• Commitment to continuously improve safety, quality, and productivity.
• Availability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and shutdowns.
• One-hour testing will be required as part of the interview process.

Schedule

The shift follows a 2/3/2 schedule (Work, Work, Off, Off, Off, Work, Work) alternating weekly, with shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM.

• Week 1: Work 2 days (e.g., Monday and Tuesday), Off 2 days (e.g., Wednesday and Thursday), Work 3 days (e.g., Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
• Week 2: Off 2 days (e.g., Monday and Tuesday), Work 2 days (e.g., Wednesday and Thursday), Off 3 days (e.g., Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
