About the Role: As a CBRE Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. What You'll Do: Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems. Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs. Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems. Conduct building walk arounds to develop a comprehensive understanding of the portfolio buildings their layouts, functions and complexities Investigate faults, identify causes and effect remedies Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion. Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently. Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations. Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner. Ensure corrective / repair works are carried out in accordance with current regulations Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail. What You'll Need: Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Meet the physical requirements of this role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads in compliance with the rules defined by the applicable H&S regulation. Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work. Communication skills to exchange straightforward information. Good customer relationship skills. The minimum salary for the Maintenance Technician position is $50,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Maintenance Technician position is $70,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
