Maintenance Technician

MUST HAVES:

High school diploma or GED
Have the ability to pass a drug and background check (no CBD/Marijuana)
Valid driver’s license with a good record
Must have a vehicle to drive to work – they will receive a company vehicle only to travel to client sites. Not home.
Able to lift up to 75 pounds
Self-motivated
Customer service skills
Time management skills
Team player but able to work independently
 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is looking for Service Technicians who can help customers operate more efficiently and safely by applying, installing, and servicing products and solutions in four major categories: Truck & Rail Loading Docks, Storage, Safety, and Energy conservation. The service Technicians will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining including but not limited to: Dock Levelers, Vehicle Restraints, Scissor Lifts, High Speed Doors, Rolling Doors, Fans and Air Curtains.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Project a positive image
Evaluate faulty equipment and ensure proper operation
Maintain a record of all service work and repairs performed within the electronic service record
Maximize labor revenue and efficiency by working with the operations manager
Drive safely from customer to customer
Effectively communicate with parts and sales department to make sure customer needs are met on time
Perform work in a variety of environments and other duties as assigned by operations
