About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support all aspects of plant operations at a manufacturing facility. You will keep production equipment repaired and in good working order so that production goals are met safely and in compliance with all regulations.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment in a timely manner
- Perform preventive maintenance on plant machinery
- Fabricate maintenance projects as needed
- Maintain a high level of housekeeping in the work area
- Follow instructions from supervisors and management
- Follow all health, safety, and lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures
- Wear all required PPE, including a respirator in designated production areas
Requirements
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) Required
- Recent, hands-on experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment Required
- Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics
- Experience in pipe fitting and welding
- Basic understanding of electro-mechanical principles
- Trained in lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures
- Able to reach, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong written and oral communication skills
