    Description

    MAU is hiring a Maintenance Technician for DiversiTech in Conyers, GA. As a Maintenance Technician, you will support proactive maintenance efforts and enhance key maintenance programs to ensure equipment safety, reliability, and performance. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.

    Shift Information

    • Day and night shifts available
    • 12-hour rotating schedule
    • Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
    • Night Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
    • Schedule: 3 days on, 3 days off

    Required Education and Experience

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • 5- 10 years of mechanical or electrical experience in a manufacturing environment

    Preferred Education and Experience

    • Electro-mechanical experience
    • Experience with extrusion, blow molding, and injection molding
    • Knowledge of PLC and robotic systems
    • Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician (CMRT)
    • Vibration ISO Level 1
    • Ultrasonic (UE) Level 1
    • Machinery Lubrication Technician (MLT1)
    • Lean 5S and/or Six Sigma experience
    • Siemens PLC troubleshooting exposure
    • Robotics experience emphasis
    • Large motor / industrial equipment experience
    • Milling/CNC/Bridgeport experience as a plus
    • Welding as a plus

    General Requirements

    • Proficient in electrical, hydraulic, and related systems
    • Experience using voltage/amperage meters, megger, torque wrenches, calipers, dial indicators, feeler gauges, laser tripods, etc.
    • Certification (or willingness to obtain) in forklift, overhead crane, wave pickers, manlifts, scissor lift, hoists, and rigging
    • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
    • Skilled in preventive maintenance and equipment diagnostics
    • Familiarity with OSHA regulations including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Arc Flash, and working at heights
    • Ability to work independently using manuals, drawings, and schematics
    • Strong adaptability and reliability in fast-paced, high-volume environments
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset

    Essential Functions

    • Perform complex repairs and overhauls on systems and equipment per OEM specs
    • Maintain and repair facility equipment
    • Execute maintenance tasks safely, efficiently, and cleanly
    • Replace parts, rebuild equipment, and align mechanical components
    • Use manuals and guides for equipment maintenance and modification
    • Control inventory of parts and equipment used
    • Address maintenance work orders promptly and accurately
    • Perform preventive maintenance as scheduled
    • Document work in the CMMS
    • Conduct predictive maintenance inspections
    • Coach and mentor level 1 and 2 technicians
    • Follow all safety protocols, including LOTO

    Working Conditions

    • Manufacturing setting with exposure to extreme temperatures
    • Loud, dusty, and/or dirty environment due to production materials

    Physical Demands

    • Frequent: standing, walking, hearing, seeing, grasping, reaching, lifting, talking, driving, repetitive motion
    • Occasional: sitting, bending, stooping
    • Heavy lifting (25-50 lbs): 25-50% of the time
