Maintenance Technician

Seeking Maintenance Technician who likes solving mechanical problems and keeping a busy plant running at full speed. You'll care for production machinery, support equipment and the building itself, and report to the Operations Manager. Monday through Thursday, 6 AM to 4 PM.

Responsibilities

• Find and fix the cause when a machine goes down
• Install, repair and rebuild production machinery and shop equipment
• Keep up a schedule of preventive maintenance and record the work
• Reset and switch over production lines as customer orders change
• Build or improve equipment and tooling to make the work safer, faster and better quality
• Handle general upkeep of the plant and office, plus special projects
• Source and order replacement parts after getting a manager's sign-off

Requirements

• Confident setting up and running standard metal and wood shop tools
• Hands-on fabrication experience with metal, wood and acrylic
• PLC and electrical background experience
• Organized self-starter who works well without close supervision
• Comfortable on a computer, or willing to learn
