Job Title: Maintenance Technician


Pay: $18-23

Schedule: Full-Time 1st & 2nd shift

Location: Claremore, Ok


Summary


The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep, troubleshooting, repair, and continuous improvement of equipment and systems in a manufacturing environment. This role supports production by maintaining equipment uptime through preventive and corrective maintenance across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.


Primary Duties

  • Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, tools, and facility systems
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and perform effective troubleshooting
  • Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records
  • Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve performance
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and company policies
  • Assist with spare parts inventory and order necessary supplies
  • Support facility maintenance including lighting, HVAC, plumbing, and structural repairs


Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including motors, conveyors, pumps, and gearboxes
  • Proficient in electrical systems, including reading schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or on-call as needed
  • Reliable and team-oriented
  • Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Technical or trade school training preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Experience using manual machine shop tools for fabrication and repair


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work in elevated or confined spaces
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and climbing
  • Regular use of hands for tools and equipment
  • Comfortable working in environments with noise, dust, and varying temperatures
