Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Chattanooga, TN
Shifts Available: 2nd & 3rd Shift
Pay: Starting at $23.00/hour (Higher pay available based on experience and skill level!)
SpotlightStaff is seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to join a leading automotive manufacturing facility. If you have experience troubleshooting industrial equipment and enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on manufacturing equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Diagnose equipment issues and perform repairs to minimize downtime
- Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper operation
- Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
- Maintain maintenance records and documentation
- Assist with equipment installations and shop floor equipment moves
- Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance supplies
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability and production efficiency
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Technical school training in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanics, Maintenance Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1–3 years of industrial maintenance experience
- Automotive manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience troubleshooting 24V DC, 120V, 240V, and 3-phase electrical systems
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools
- Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic prints
- PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus
- Welding experience is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed
