Job Title: Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Calibre ManufacturingDepartment: Maintenance Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor / Manager Job Type: Full-time Shift: Monday through Friday 7am-3pm (hours may fluctuate) Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician with basic electrical experience. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, repair, and preventative maintenance of all production machinery, equipment, and some facility systems to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.Key Responsibilities:Perform routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems.Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on production equipment.Basic facility maintenance.Install, test, and calibrate new machines and production systems as needed.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and work orders.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production delays.Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis processes.Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tool roomsAssist with maintaining spare parts/inventory.Qualifications:Education & Experience:High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification preferred.2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.Pharmaceutical experience Electrical experienceTechnical Skills:Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and control systems.Experience with PLCs, VFDs, motors, pumps, gears, and conveyors preferred.Ability to identify the correct tools necessary for the task.Basic computer skills.Soft Skills:Strong problem-solving (troubleshooting) skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and within a team.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as climbing, kneeling, and standing for long periods.Willingness to work overtime, and possibly weekends when necessary.Work Environment:Exposure to loud noises, moving mechanical parts, and temperature variations.Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
