Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician II performs machine repairs, projects, refurbishments, rebuilds, and preventive/predictive maintenance activities.  Maintenance Technician II performs preventive maintenance work as assigned and scheduled by the CMMS.  Maintenance Technician II responds to machine repair calls and projects as assigned or directed by the Maintenance Supervisor. 

The employee will work predominately in a maintenance shop and a manufacturing environment where the use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) will be required including safety glasses, steel toed shoes with metatarsal guards, and hearing protection.  The employee may also be required to use a face shield, protective gloves and sleeves, fall protection harness, and hardhat depending upon assigned work tasks. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Completion of assigned equipment PM activities as scheduled by CMMS. 

• Repair and troubleshoot injection press mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
