Duties include, but are not limited to: Perform routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and building systems; Replace light bulbs and maintain proper lighting throughout the property; Inspect and ensure fire safety equipment (including exit signs and fire doors) is in proper working condition; Inspect ventilation systems and report or address any issues; Perform general maintenance and preventative maintenance on hotel equipment (e.g., washers, dryers, HVAC units, televisions, and other appliances); Complete minor repairs, including painting, patchwork, and general upkeep; Perform basic plumbing repairs, such as fixing leaks or unclogging drains; Respond to maintenance requests and prioritize work orders appropriately; Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance areas in a clean and organized manner; Keep accurate records of maintenance work as required by Company policy and applicable regulations; Respond to emergency situations and participate in on-call duties as needed; Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment; Assist other departments, including housekeeping, as needed; and. This position requires the ability to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodation, including: Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching; Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling items up to 50 pounds regularly, and heavier items with assistance; Use of tools and equipment to perform maintenance tasks; Working in indoor and outdoor environments and varying conditions.
