Manpower is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a full-time opportunity with a company in Belle Glade, FL.
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Pay: $19.00 per hour
We're looking for candidates with recent, hands-on building maintenance experience. A consistent work history in general building maintenance is required for this position.
Responsibilities
Perform a variety of general building maintenance and repair tasks.
Assist with unit turnovers to ensure units are clean, safe, and move-in ready.
Paint interior and exterior surfaces, including preparing surfaces and applying finishes.
Replace windows and screens.
Perform minor plaster patching and repairs.
Repair gutters and downspouts.
Repair faucets, toilets, tanks, bowls, and clear plumbing blockages.
Install and repair plumbing fixtures.
Operate and maintain maintenance tools and equipment.
Travel between different work sites - all within the same city
Assist with grounds maintenance as needed.
Respond to emergency, on-call, and after-hours maintenance requests when required.
Complete additional maintenance duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Recent, long-term experience performing building maintenance is required.
Experience with plumbing, painting, drywall, basic carpentry, and general building repairs.
Working knowledge of building maintenance practices, tools, materials, and safety procedures.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
Valid driver's license with a clean, insurable driving record.
Must be bondable.
High school diploma or GED required.
