Job Opportunity: Maintenance Technician Are you a meticulous and dependable team player with a passion for customer service? We invite you to join our KAAPA team as an Maintenance Technician at our Aurora location. Job Responsibilities: Specific responsibilities: pump repair, minor welding and fabrication, daily rounds, greasing and oiling, service of rolling stock, all items serviced per services schedule, equipment replacement Inspect, test and adjust repairs of all physical plant machinery, heating, cooling, piping and fire water systems Inspect, test, and rebuild pumps in accordance with recommended schedules Maintain shop vehicles and parts room Maintain records of all inspections, tests, and repairs Clean up after each job is completed Working Hours: Monday- Friday 8am- 4:30pm and must be available for overtime work and/ or on a call-in basis as the plant is operational 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required 6+ months institutional maintenance experience preferred Must have in depth knowledge of pumps, seals, bearings, and alignment techniques Knowledge of methods and techniques used in plumbing, electrical systems, air-conditioning and mechanics regarding pumps, refrigeration and automotive repairs preferred Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to others and work well as a team Basic computer experience Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance 401k with employer contributions Basic life and short-term disability insurance provided Sick and vacation time along with 8 paid holidays Profit Sharing Signing bonuses Wages: $33.52/hr Join us and become a valued member of our team, contributing to the smooth operation and success of our company.
