Our esteemed company is seeking an experienced Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic Engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual to apply their technical skills and industry knowledge in a fast-paced, innovative environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the automotive industry, with proficiency in Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Electrical, and IATF16949. The chosen candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our machinery and equipment in order to maintain our high-quality standards and meet production targets.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on various types of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
2. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, and Electrical systems.
3. Implement corrective actions and repairs promptly to minimize downtime and avoid production delays.
4. Adhere to the IATF16949 quality management system and ensure all activities are in compliance with these standards.
5. Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement preventative maintenance programs.
6. Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed.
7. Continually review and update maintenance procedures and protocols to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
8. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs.
9. Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and implement new technologies as appropriate.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance technician role within the engineering or automotive industry.
2. Demonstrated proficiency with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, and Electrical systems.
3. Extensive knowledge of the IATF16949 quality management system.
4. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
5. Strong technical and mechanical skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
9. A valid driver's license and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as required.
10. A degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
