Why this role matters
As a Maintenance Assistant, you will support the daily operation and upkeep of automated equipment, helping maximize system availability, safe operations, and a seamless customer experience.
What you'll do
Operational support
- Respond to equipment jams on conveyors and workstations to minimize downtime.
- Support robot retrieval and recovery during downtime windows.
- Assist maintenance technicians with system availability, performance, and basic maintenance tasks.
- Promote proper equipment operating procedures with customer operators.
Equipment, materials, and safety
- Clean equipment and remove debris from work areas.
- Support setup, tooling changes, readiness tasks, and issue reporting.
- Receive, label, prepare, transport, and count materials, supplies, and spare parts.
- Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, LOTO practices, and complete required documentation.
What to expect
- Job location: Phillipsburg, NJ
- Salary range: $19-22 per hour + 8% annual bonus & benefits
- Shift pattern:
- 1st or 2nd shift front half (Monday to Thursday) and back half (Wednesday to Saturday)
- First shift is 6am to 4:30pm. Second shift is 12 to 10:30pm.
- Shift patterns will change to include Sundays during our client's peak season.
- Shift patterns are subject to change.
