The
Maintenance Technician
is responsible for maintaining and repairing commercial and industrial facility systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. The technician will perform hands-on work with electrical systems, fabrication tasks like welding and machining, and support PLC-driven equipment as needed. The position requires experience in industrial settings and flexibility for rotating weekends and occasional overtime.
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building utilities and systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.)
- Handle general electrical work, including troubleshooting and repair of commercial building systems
- Support facility infrastructure, piping, welding, machining, and light fabrication as needed
- Occasionally work with or support PLC-driven systems (knowledge of 480V systems preferred)
- Participate in rotating weekend coverage (every other weekend) and occasional OT
- All OT is paid at time and a half, including weekend coverage
Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
- 3–10+ years of hands-on commercial/industrial maintenance experience
- Strong background in commercial electrical systems, 480V preferred
- Working knowledge of machining, welding, piping, and general fabrication
- Experience with PLC programming or troubleshooting a plus
- Comfortable working in a large industrial setting (not residential/home repair)
