Maintenance Technician

Exciting Opportunity for a FULL TIME Maintenance Tech!!!

Vitality Living of Aitkin is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician.  The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of job tasks in the physical building and on the facility grounds.

Proffered Qualifications: 

• 1 year of maintenance experience 
• Can work independently  

Typical job duties may involve but are not limited to:

• Performs minor repair of all building, plant operations systems and equipment.
• Repair and maintenance to resident furniture or equipment.
• Performs preventative maintenance procedures on building mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis, nursing lift equipment, alarms, etc.
  
• Participates in the maintenance of safety alarm systems throughout the community.
• Coordinate major maintenance and repair with licensed contractors.
• Transport residents to & from local appointment when needed. 
• Communication on walkie talkies. 

• May obtain estimates for supplies, repair parts; orders parts as needed.
