Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team on 3rd shift. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient facility while performing routine maintenance and repair tasks throughout the building and warehouse. The ideal candidate will have experience with conveyor systems and a working knowledge of building maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and safety systems.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on facility systems and equipment.
• Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, ventilation, cooling, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and perform basic maintenance on conveyor systems and related equipment.
• Monitor building systems to identify maintenance needs and ensure safe operation.
• identifying and correcting potential hazards.
• Remove snow, ice, and debris from sidewalks, entrances, and dock areas when necessary.
• Move furniture, equipment, and supplies manually or with material handling equipment.
• Set up and remove tables, chairs, ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment for meetings and special events.
• Maintain inventory and request cleaning supplies, tools, and maintenance materials as needed.
• Assist with restoration and cleaning activities following fire, smoke, or water damage incidents.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED preferred.Previous maintenance experience in a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or industrial environment preferred.Experience maintaining and troubleshooting conveyor systems is highly desirable.General knowledge of:
• Mechanical systems
• Electrical systems
• Plumbing
• Fire protection systems
• Building maintenance
• Workplace safety practices

Ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment safely.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Work requires moderate muscular exertion and/or physical strain such as frequently climbing or, recurring bending, lifting, or lowering of items weight up to 50 pounds.
• Requires lifting/lowering, pushing, or pulling of various items of varying weight.
