Maintenance Technician 3

Location: Orange, MA
Pay: $25.00–$30.00 per hour + Shift Differential
Schedule: Full-Time | 2nd Shift 3:00 PM–11:00 PM

We're looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician 3 to join our Maintenance team. You'll support our production and maintenance teams through routine preventive maintenance, equipment setup, and hands-on technical assistance.

What You'll Do

  • Carry out routine preventive maintenance as described within assigned work orders.
  • Perform routine machine setup, including adjustments to or replacement of blades on guillotines.
  • Assist Level 1 and Level 2 technicians with larger and more complex equipment repairs.
  • Communicate with production and maintenance team members regarding equipment needs and issues.
  • Conduct routine safety checks.
  • Perform Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) when working on equipment.
  • Use the CMMS system to document work orders and maintenance activities.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and maintenance practices.
  • Support other maintenance activities and projects as needed.

  • Ability to read and understand manuals, policies, and procedures provided by equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
  • Basic problem-solving skills when working with mechanical machinery.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with the proper use of hand tools, power tools, and measurement devices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
  • Self-motivated, responsible, and safety-oriented.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

This is a hands-on maintenance position in a manufacturing environment. The role requires standing, walking, climbing stairs, and working around operating machinery and production equipment.

The position requires the ability to:

  • Stand, walk, climb stairs, and work throughout the facility.
  • Occasionally lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Safely use hand tools, power tools, and measurement devices.
  • Work safely around moving machinery and production equipment.
  • Perform maintenance activities, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
