Description
Our client is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a direct hire opportunity in Rockford, MI. Working on-site on second shift and reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will troubleshoot and repair production equipment to keep manufacturing operations running reliably. This non-exempt role offers hands-on work across mechanical, electrical, and automated systems in a fast-paced production setting.
Responsibilities
* Diagnose equipment failures and complete repairs on robotic systems, conveyors, thermoforming machines, extruders, auxiliary equipment, and racking systems.
* Use electrical prints and PLC troubleshooting skills to identify the source of equipment problems.
* Restore equipment operation by repairing or replacing worn, damaged, or malfunctioning components.
* Adjust mechanical components, control systems, and instrumentation to support proper equipment performance.
* Install specialized mechanical and structural components on production machinery.
* Use electrical prints and PLC troubleshooting skills to identify the source of equipment problems.
