Maintenance Technician — Urgently hiring in Kent!

Job Title: Maintenance Technician


Pay: $26 - $30 per hour


Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll perform essential maintenance and repairs on equipment, building systems (HVAC), and facilities. You’ll work closely with management to ensure operations run smoothly, keeping machinery and infrastructure in top shape.

What You’ll Do

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
  • Performing preventive maintenance inspections and services on hydraulic and pneumatic machinery, electrical and propane lift trucks, and industrial compressors
  • Thoroughly cleaning machines and parts, removing and reinstalling components as needed
  • Oiling and lubricating moving machine parts to ensure optimal performance
  • Recording and reporting damaged, worn, or broken parts promptly
  • Repairing broken machinery quickly and efficiently to minimize downtime

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • High School Diploma or GED, plus completion of vocational or skilled trades program
  • Experience with welding, fabrication, and electrical systems
  • Familiarity with circuits and wiring at various voltages (110/208/220/480)
  • Strong understanding of machines, tools, and blueprints
  • Ability to read and follow technical instructions and schematics
  • Manual dexterity and physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various positions
