• Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Install, maintain, and modify production equipment and facility systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Troubleshoot motors, drives, sensors, control systems, and PLC-controlled equipment.
• Install electrical equipment including conduit, cable trays, wiring, motors, and drives.
• Support equipment upgrades, process improvements, and capital projects.
• Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Complete maintenance work orders and documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety, quality, environmental, and company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and support operational goals.
• Perform general building and facility maintenance as required.
Required:
• High school diploma or GED.
• Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment or completion of a maintenance-related technical program.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred:
• Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electro-Mechanical Technology, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
• Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment.
• Working knowledge of motors, drives, hydraulics, pneumatics, and instrumentation.
• Welding and fabrication experience.
• Experience in a converting, packaging, printing, paper, or manufacturing environment.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and work in an industrial environment for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work safely around moving machinery and equipment.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces when necessary.
