DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Check with the General Manager on job assignments.
- Repair and maintain all machines and equipment as directed.
- Inform the Purchasing Manager when replacement parts or materials are needed.
- Provide general maintenance for company facilities and grounds.
- Inform the necessary Manager’s and shift supervisor/ lead person of any equipment-related problems or concerns that may affect the quality of parts produced.
- Provide accessible and responsive maintenance services at the requests of TMF Center personnel.
- Perform and document all required preventive maintenance on facilities, machines, and equipment.
- Complete accurate daily records (date, times, services performed, parts used) for every job worked on, on Shop Travelers and in the ERP system.
- Follow instructions from all TMF Center and equipment documentation, including Shop Traveler, equipment manuals, and blueprints.
- Accept responsibility for the quality of products/services provided and perform all required inspections and equipment checks.
- Comply with all 5S procedures and maintain the shop and equipment in a clean and orderly manner.
- Safely conduct all tasks and behaviors and comply with all TMF Center Safety Policies, including the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Lockout/Tagout requirements, as outlined in the TMF Center Safety Manual.
- Maintain all required documentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- A willingness to learn and be trained on machine operator related tasks.
- General skills with hand and air tools
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read different measuring tools
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to routinely bend and squat
- Ability to occasionally climb stairs, ladders, or platforms
- Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods
- Ability to repetitively grasp
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
