Overview
Mosaic Wellness & Recovery is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team at our new detox and mental health treatment facility located in Johns Creek, Georgia. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, comfortable, and well-functioning environment for clients, staff, and visitors.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, and experienced in facility maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance within a residential or healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the facility.
Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance issues.
Repair and maintain doors, locks, walls, lighting, appliances, furniture, and fixtures.
Complete preventative maintenance tasks and facility inspections.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and urgent repair needs.
Maintain facility grounds and assist with seasonal or exterior upkeep.
Identify safety concerns and report operational issues to leadership.
Assist with room setups, furniture moves, and facility projects as needed.
Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors when appropriate.
Maintain maintenance logs, inventory, and repair documentation.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 2 years of maintenance or facilities experience preferred.
Experience with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building repairs required.
Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, hospitality, or residential settings preferred.
Valid drivers license with acceptable driving record required.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical maintenance tasks.
Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple responsibilities.
Work Environment
Full-time, on-site position.
Occasional evenings, weekends, or on-call responsibilities may be required.
Physical requirements include standing, walking, climbing, bending, lifting, and carrying equipment or supplies.
