    Position Summary

    The Maintenance Supervisor supports the Director of Maintenance in overseeing the daily operations of the Maintenance Department. This role helps ensure the facility, equipment, and grounds are maintained in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while providing a safe, comfortable, and functional environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist in supervision of the Maintenance Department.
    • Help maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, codes, and safety standards.
    • Coordinate and monitor preventative maintenance programs.
    • Ensure facility systems and equipment are operating efficiently and safely.
    • Assist with maintenance projects, repairs, inspections, and work orders.
    • Support emergency preparedness and response efforts.
    • Promote a culture of safety throughout the facility.
    • Collaborate with department leaders to address maintenance needs and enhance the resident experience.
    • Supervise maintenance staff routine repairs and completion of work orders

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in a maintenance, plant operations, or related environment.
    • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • Healthcare, long-term care, or senior living experience preferred.
