The Maintenance Supervisor at St. Christina is responsible for overseeing the daily maintenance, repair, and upkeep of Parish buildings, grounds, and equipment. This role ensures a safe, clean, and functional environment for parishioners, students, staff, and visitors while supervising the Maintenance Assistant and coordinating facilities-related operations.

Responsibilities
• Supervise and coordinate the work of custodial and maintenance staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management
• Up-keep of Parish facilities regularly to identify needs, safety hazards, and code compliance issues
• Plan and oversee preventive maintenance programs for building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, ensuring timely resolution
• Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment; order materials as needed within budget guidelines
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations and school policies
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, inspections, and repairs alongside the Director of Operations
• Support Parish events by ensuring facilities are properly set up and operational

Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade certification preferred
• 3–5 years of experience in building maintenance or facilities management, with supervisory experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and safety practices
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed

Job Specifications
• Full-time position; may require early mornings, evenings, or occasional weekends

This position has an annualized salary range of $48,000.00 - $53,000.00.  An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on many factors including but not limited to: relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and organizational needs.
