Maintenance Lead
Location: Savannah, GAJob Type: Direct HireSchedule: Full-TimePay: $70,000–$80,000 annually
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations within a manufacturing facility. This direct-hire position is responsible for leading maintenance technicians, coordinating preventive maintenance programs, troubleshooting complex equipment issues, and ensuring production equipment operates safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the daily activities of the maintenance team
- Coordinate and oversee preventive maintenance schedules
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Provide technical support for PLCs, robotics, and automated manufacturing equipment
- Diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective actions
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
- Minimize equipment downtime through effective maintenance planning
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance procedures
- Train and mentor maintenance technicians as needed
- Maintain maintenance records and documentation
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Extensive industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong electrical and/or electronics background required
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Experience with PLCs, robotics, automation systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics
- Ability to troubleshoot complex manufacturing equipment
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
