Maintenance Supervisor/Safety Officer

Vida Y Salud Health Systems Inc. a Federally Qualified Health Center FQHC is currently seeking an individual to fill the position of Maintenance SupervisorSafety Officer.Requirements Responsible to maintain and upkeep the facility oversees the custodians and maintenance personnel. Monitors compliance with company safety rules regulations and any other applicable Federal State or local employee safety law. The Safety Officer is responsible for monitoring and assessing hazardous and unsafe situations and developing measures to assure personnel safety. Under general direction plans develops and implements policies and procedures for the department supervises department activities and assures compliance.Education and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED. Two plus years of maintenance and supervisory experience. A wide knowledge of methods materials and tools used in maintenance and the repair of heating electrical refrigeration ventilation plumbing equipment in building and grounds will be considered a must. Must be knowledgeable in Occupational Safety and Health Administration OSHA and provide trainings to staff. Ability to commit to flexible schedules and prompt arrival for shifts.
