Advanced Personnel Resources is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for a 3rd Shift opportunity with our client in Rockingham County. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing maintenance operations within a manufacturing environment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable production support. This position provides direct supervision to maintenance employees, supports hiring and training activities, and helps maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.Job DutiesSupervise daily maintenance operations and support production activities from a maintenance perspective.Manage the implementation and transition of new products, equipment, and technologies into the production environment.Review and approve drawings, routings, instructions, specifications, and related documentation as needed.Identify, analyze, and resolve production and maintenance issues in collaboration with Engineering, Production, Quality, and other departments.Support efforts to improve quality, productivity, efficiency, equipment uptime, and overall plant performance.Coordinate maintenance schedules, including weekday, weekend, and vacation coverage, to minimize overtime and maintain operational continuity.Monitor and manage maintenance inventory to control costs while ensuring appropriate parts availability.Ensure compliance with the organization’s asset management system and related maintenance processes.Assist with interviewing, selecting, training, and developing maintenance personnel.Conduct safety inspections, observe work practices, and provide job safety training to promote a safe and healthy work environment.Ensure housekeeping, food safety, and plant rules are followed at all times.Support safe production practices and help maintain the overall safety and well-being of employees.Oversee maintenance of the waste treatment facility, building, and grounds as assigned.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Four to five years of experience in manufacturing maintenance, manufacturing engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Strong knowledge of electrical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics.Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Ability to use available resources to maximize maintenance team effectiveness.Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
