We are seeking a dependable and experienced maintenance professional to oversee the day-to-day upkeep of a residential property and support a high-quality living experience for residents. In this role, you will lead maintenance operations, coordinate repairs, respond to service requests, and help ensure the property remains safe, functional, and well maintained.
What You’ll Do
- Supervise and support maintenance operations across the property.
- Respond to and complete resident work orders in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform routine inspections of units, common areas, equipment, and building systems.
- Diagnose and repair issues related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, and general upkeep.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance to help reduce equipment downtime and extend asset life.
- Assist with unit turnovers, including repairs, painting, cleaning coordination, and readiness for new residents.
- Oversee the safe use, inventory, and organization of tools, materials, and supplies.
- Support vendors and contractors by scheduling, monitoring work, and ensuring quality standards are met.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.
- Help ensure compliance with safety procedures, property standards, and applicable regulations.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous maintenance experience in residential, multifamily, hospitality, or a related environment.
- Supervisory experience or the ability to lead and coordinate maintenance tasks and priorities.
- Working knowledge of building systems, general repairs, and preventive maintenance practices.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to complete work efficiently and accurately.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing needs.
- Familiarity with safety standards and proper use of maintenance tools and equipment.
- Basic computer skills for tracking work orders, documentation, and vendor communication.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a property management or apartment community setting.
- Knowledge of local code requirements and property safety practices.
- Relevant certifications or technical training in maintenance-related trades.
- Experience assisting with budgeting, inventory management, or vendor coordination.
