Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Description
The Maintenance Supervisor provides frontline leadership for maintenance operations in a high-volume distribution center. The role leads maintenance technicians, drives equipment reliability, supports safe work practices, and ensures building systems, material handling equipment, automation, and facility assets are maintained to support uninterrupted operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and direct maintenance technicians.
Plan, prioritize, and assign corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance.
Support troubleshooting of complex failures and recurring downtime.
Guide technicians in root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
Reinforce LOTO, electrical safety, housekeeping, and regulatory compliance.
Use CMMS to manage work orders, repair history, backlog, and reliability reporting.
Train and coach technicians and assess their skills.
Coordinate with Operations, Safety, vendors, and Facilities leadership.
Support parts planning, inventory, vendor coordination, budget awareness, and continuous improvement.
Education & Certifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Technical trade certification, Associate's or Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, industrial maintenance, engineering technology, or related field preferred.
PLC, electrical, automation, OSHA, NFPA 70E, LOTO, CMRP, or related certifications preferred.
Microsoft Office and CMMS/work order system proficiency preferred. Experience & Skills
3–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience preferred.
Experience in distribution, manufacturing, fulfillment, warehouse, or automated material-handling environments.
Previous leadership/supervision of maintenance technicians or skilled trades employees preferred.
Knowledge of conveyors, automation, PLC-based equipment, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic systems, facility utilities, and building infrastructure.
CMMS experience.
Reliability-centered maintenance, root-cause analysis, predictive maintenance, spare-parts planning, and continuous improvement experience preferred.
Strong communication with technicians, operations, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
