Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Provides hands-on guidance, coaching, and feedback to promote accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Promotes collaboration and communication across shifts and with other departments.
  • Maintains a calm, solutions-oriented presence during high-pressure situations.
  • Champions management initiatives, ensuring department goals and directives are implemented effectively on the floor.
  • Support project execution by reinforcing priorities, timelines, and accountability within the team, ensuring alignment with project objectives and milestones.

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Executes operational and strategic plans through effective scheduling, coordination, and supervision of maintenance personnel.
  • Oversees daily preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and facility readiness
  • Provides hands-on technical support and mentorship-guiding team members through complex troubleshooting and repair procedures.
  • Ensures all maintenance work follows safety and quality standards.
  • Assists in the development and training of new hires and cross-training of existing staff.
  • Tracks completion of work orders, preventive maintenance, and service requests; ensures documentation is accurate and timely.
  • Identifies improvement opportunities and communicates them to the Maintenance Manager for consideration in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Supports the company's Lean and 6S initiatives, ensuring organized, efficient, and safe work environments.
  • Coordinates with production supervisors, planning, and quality departments to minimize downtime and align maintenance efforts with production priorities.

  • Works with vendors and contractors under the direction of the Maintenance Manager to facilitate service calls, parts procurement, and external repairs.
  • Monitors team performance, attendance, and safety compliance, and provides feedback to management as needed.
  • Oversees facility infrastructure maintenance including HVAC systems, compressed air systems, electrical distribution, plumbing, and general building utilities to ensure reliable plant operations.
  • Coordinates facility repairs and improvements such as lighting, roofing, foundations, doors, floors, and other building systems that impact safety, equipment reliability, or production flow.
  • Supports infrastructure upgrades and capital projects by coordinating internal resources, vendors, and contractors, tracking progress against schedule, and ensuring projects are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Performs routine facility inspections to identify safety risks, maintenance needs, and improvement opportunities affecting equipment, infrastructure, or work environment.
  • Assists in planning and execution of maintenance and facility projects, including defining scope, coordinating resources, and supporting timeline development.
  • Tracks project progress, communicates status updates, and helps ensure projects are completed on time and within defined scope.
  • Supports documentation of project work, including updates to SOPs, maintenance standards, and system records.
