Maintenance Supervisor

A growing food manufacturing operation is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to provide hands-on leadership across plant maintenance, equipment reliability, and facility support functions.

This individual will oversee daily maintenance activities while remaining actively involved in troubleshooting and repair efforts.

Description

• Lead daily maintenance operations in support of production goals
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, steam, and control system issues
• Maintain equipment including fillers, cappers, kettles, conveyors, pumps, compressors, boilers, and related processing systems
• Improve preventive maintenance programs, schedules, and maintenance procedures
• Conduct root cause investigations and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime
• Support equipment installation, calibration, and process improvements
• Assist with basic PLC troubleshooting and VFD adjustments
• Ensure maintenance documentation is accurate and audit-ready
• Coordinate facility maintenance activities including plumbing, electrical, welding, and general repairs
• Partner with operations leadership to improve plant performance and reliability
• Provide guidance and mentorship to maintenance personnel and contractors

Profile

• 3-5+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience
• Previous leadership experience as a Maintenance Supervisor, Lead Technician, or similar role
• Food manufacturing experience strongly preferred
• Strong troubleshooting abilities across mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
• Experience supporting older equipment and performing hands-on repairs
• Working knowledge of PLCs and VFDs
• Bilingual Spanish and English required
• Strong communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
