Maintenance Supervisor

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Incorporated is well known for its flagship product, YellaWood brand pressure treated pine which it sells through Do-It-Yourself retail home centers, pro dealers and other retail building-related and industrial segments. Our distribution coverage stretches from the Florida Keys to Texas to Canada, an area that includes all or parts of 27 states and the District of Columbia, as well as much of the Caribbean and Latin America, and part of the European Union and Mediterranean region. Greenbush Logistics, Inc. is seeking an experienced Fleet Maintenance Supervisor. Our Fleet maintenance supervisors play an important role in ensuring that our equipment runs properly.

Essential Duties:

• Responsible for the leadership and direction of the technicians and the health of the equipment.
• Exhibits sound and accurate judgment; Makes timely decisions; Demonstrates persistence and overcomes obstacles; Prioritizes and plans work activities; Uses time efficiently; Organizes or schedules other people and their tasks; Reacts well under pressure.
• Delegates work assignments, sets expectations, monitors delegated activities, and provides recognition for results.
• Makes self-available to staff and provides regular performance feedback.
• Develops subordinates skills, encourages growth, and fosters quality focus in others.
• Improves processes, products, and services.

Requirements:

• Five (5) or more years of tractor/trailer/forklift mechanical experience. (Required)
• At least three (3) years of supervisory experience.
• At least one (1) year of mechanical knowledge is preferred.
