Description

Pro Resources is seeking a 1st Shift Maintenance Supervisor for a client in Fremont, IN. The Maintenance Supervisor oversees the daily activities of the maintenance team to ensure the reliable operation of equipment, machinery, and facilities. This position is responsible for scheduling maintenance work, supervising technicians, enforcing safety standards, troubleshooting equipment issues, and supporting operational goals through effective maintenance practices.

Shift and Compensation 
  • 1st Shift 
  • Compensation is from 60,000 USD to 75,000 USD per year
Job Duties
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of maintenance technicians and maintenance personnel.
  • Plan, prioritize, and assign preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks.
  • Monitor equipment performance and ensure timely repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and facility-related issues.
  • Ensure maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards.
  • Enforce adherence to OSHA, environmental, and company safety requirements.
  • Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and equipment history using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Inspect equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs and improvement opportunities.
  • Coordinate with production, operations, and other departments to schedule maintenance activities.
  • Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and capital improvement projects.
  • Monitor inventory levels of spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies.
  • Train, coach, and develop maintenance employees.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback.
  • Respond to maintenance emergencies and support after-hours maintenance activities as needed.
Background Profile
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or trade certification preferred.
  • 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or facilities environment.
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and facility systems.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS software.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety requirements.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
