The Maintenance Supervisor is the principal assistant to the Maintenance Manager on all matters pertaining to the assigned maintenance mission. Maintenance Supervisor oversees and coordinates the assigned technicians who maintain and repair military equipment to include combat systems, rolling stock, power generation equipment, and various ancillary components. They are also responsible for the coordination of the logistical support staff in support of direct maintenance operations. Is responsible for workflow management and the monitoring of all key performance indicators and sets in motion corrective processes or procedures as required.
The Maintenance Supervisor performs hiring actions, monitors scheduling, and attends to all personnel requirements that may arise for a direct reporting employee. Monitors team member training and craft skills to ensure optimal and safe performance of assigned task. Supervisors evaluate each worker's performance to ensure quality operations. Conducts direct coordination with external staff and directly interfaces with supported customers to ensure mission requirements are met to standard and in a timely manner.
