Maintenance Supervisor | High-Speed Food Manufacturing

Location: Atlanta, GA Area | Full-Time | Direct Hire
Salary: $80-$95K
SHIFT: 3rd Shift 11pm to 7am (5-6 days a week)

We are recruiting an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for a well-established, high-speed bakery manufacturing operation in the Atlanta area. This is an opportunity for a hands-on leader who knows how to troubleshoot equipment, develop technicians, improve reliability, and keep high-volume production moving safely and efficiently.

What You'll Bring to the Team

• Lead and support maintenance technicians in a fast-paced production environment
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical equipment issues
• Support preventive maintenance and equipment reliability initiatives
• Diagnose problems involving PLCs, VFDs, motors, sensors, relays, solenoids, control panels, pneumatics, and hydraulics
• Read and troubleshoot from electrical schematics and ladder logic
• Work safely with 480V and industrial three-phase electrical systems
• Support high-speed bakery production and packaging equipment
• Help reduce downtime and identify solutions to recurring equipment failures
• Utilize CMMS/CAMS systems to support maintenance planning and documentation
• Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of maintenance supervisory experience, preferably within bakery or food manufacturing
• Hands-on experience with high-speed manufacturing equipment
• Strong Allen-Bradley PLC troubleshooting experience
• Experience with CMMS/CAMS systems
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting capabilities
• Knowledge of 480V, three-phase power, VFDs, control systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics
• Ability to read electrical schematics and ladder logic
• Technical degree or equivalent industrial maintenance experience preferred
• Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook proficiency

Bakery Experience Gets Our Attention

Experience maintaining equipment such as tunnel ovens, conveyorized ovens, mixers, proofers, conveyors, and high-speed packaging equipment is highly desirable.

Experience using mills, lathes, drill presses, welding equipment, and other maintenance shop equipment is also valuable.

We're Looking for a Hands-On Leader

This isn't a position for someone who only wants to manage from an office. We're looking for a supervisor who can lead the team, troubleshoot alongside technicians when needed, prioritize maintenance needs, and help prevent the next breakdown instead of simply reacting to it.
