Serve Others, Enrich Lives, Rise Together and Give BackJob Overview: The role of the Plant Maintenance Supervisor is to participate in the Total and Preventative Maintenance (TPM) for all equipment and facilities. Also to respond to and correct all equipment breakdowns and support preventive actions.
Maintenance Supervisor Responsibilities:
Coordinate the procurement of new equipment to assure manufacturing, maintainability, and Health, Safety & Environmental requirements are metContribute, in liaison with the Manufacturing Engineering Department, to define technical specifications for alterations on existing equipment and facilitiesCoordinate both repair and preventive maintenance requirements for all manufacturing equipmentIdentify and develop standards for equipment repair, set up and operationParticipate in Production System Efficiency and Quality System Efficiency workshops to support continuous improvement: propose and implement continuous productivity, efficiency and quality improvement actions for all facilitiesAbility and knowledge to facilitate equipment movesDefine and monitor quality, cost and delivery objectives given to external companies when intervening: subcontracting, ordinary and major maintenance actions, energy, security systemsMonitor the purchase and inventory of spare parts and consumables to eliminate downtimeRecommend safety policies and assure safety controls are tested and reliableKeep up to date documentation related to maintenanceBe responsible for computer-aided maintenance management systemManage a team of maintenance techniciansAssist with any additional tasks as assigned by the company
Maintenance Supervisor Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess/have the following skills/qualifications:Bachelors degree in Engineering, preferably with a specialization in Maintenance or equivalent experienceWorking knowledge of Quality system and Health, Safety & Environment skillsAdvanced computer knowledge and skillsStrong problem solving skillsStrong people management skills, interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work in a matrix organization
